The Marquees Are Going Up!

We are ready with a full action packed day for you.
Jonathan Evans, Show Chairman, says “Life has become very difficult for many over the last couple of years. We think we are all ready for a bit of fun! And we’ve got a full, fun-packed day lined up ahead.
“Our team of volunteers have been working throughout the year putting the day together. Our theme for the day is Taking Part. I can’t wait to see all your competition entries.
“We aim to provide a fun family day, at a reasonable cost. This is really important especially this year when everyone is having to tighten their belts. Many of our attractions are free.”
STAR ATTRACTIONS
There are two main ring attractions on the day:
SAVAGE SKILLS – DEFYING GRAVITY SHOW
BMX v. Mountainboard – This new performance is the only show of its kind in the world, it’s fresh, new for 2024 and has never been seen before.
The performance combines freestyle BMX and the extreme sport of mountainboarding which results in a breathtaking, jaw dropping ariel
performance which is suitable for audiences of all ages.
FREE meet and greet, athlete signed posters and show giveaways happen after every performance.
Come and be wowed in the Main Ring. Performances at 12:15 and 14:45 – you won’t want to miss them but if you want a sneaky peak beforehand, have a look at this…….Savage Skills – Defying Gravity
END OF SHOW SHOW – GREATEST SHOWMAN FEATURING JOE GASH AND GUESTS
A great way to round off a great day! Sure to get you on your feet and singing along.
Joe’s previous credits include singer/dancer on P&O Cruises Australia, Kenickie/understudy Danny Zuko in ‘Grease the Musical’ on Royal Caribbean’s – ‘Harmony of the Seas’, Freddie Mercury on ITV 1’s Saturday night show and is currently part of the Grease UK & Ireland Tour.
Joe also fronts ‘The Darkniss’ – The world’s Number. 1 Tribute band to ‘The Darkness’, portraying front-man Justin Hawkins
His set will include hits from The Greatest Showman followed by some classic bangers

How do I buy Tickets?
Tickets can be purchased before the day, up to midnight on the day before by visiting www.mirfieldshow.com and following the links. Adult tickets are £6 before the day.
You can also pay on the day for £10 per adult. Children up to 16 years old with accompanying adults are FREE!
Where do I park?
Free parking is available at Mirfield Church fields (WF14 9HX). There will be a FREE bus to take you to the Showground. The bus travels round Mirfield in a circular route – see website for more information.
The bus will leave the car park every 20 mins from 08:20 and returns until 17:30.
