Mirfield Show AGM news

There were changes at the top of the Mirfield Agricultural Show organisation at the AGM in February.
After 12 years as the Show Chairman, Karen Bullivant, stood down and a new Chairman was elected. He is Jonathan Evans. He has, himself, been part of the committee for quite a number of years before taking up this top spot. His position on the Board as Head of Bookings has been taken by Lizzy Naylor who was voted in on the night.
Karen said “It has been my privilege to be Chairman of this fantastic bunch of people for so long. We are very lucky in that we have a lot of young people on our committee. I think it is important for them to progress through the organisation and bring fresh ideas to the table. I have been involved with the Show since 1998 and will not be giving up, just becoming an ordinary member of the committee.”
